The Hog Deer Creek shepherd’s huts can accommodate up to four guests ideal for two adults and two children. A double bed is topped by two separate bunk beds facing out through the windows so you can watch the animals at the watering hole whilst relaxing in bed! Each Shepherd’s Hut has an ensuite shower room with Molton Brown products and a seating area with a log burner, wall mounted TV, mini fridge, and a Nespresso machine.
Location
Set in the garden at the heart of our Asian Experience, each shepherd’s hut has outdoor seating with a chimenea, perfect for relaxing in the evening and watching the sunset. Guests can explore Port Lympne in their complimentary buggy and make use of any of the onsite restaurants.
Exclusive access
You will have exclusive access to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve during and outside of normal visitor hours from the day of your arrival to the day of your departure. You can visit both wildlife parks - Howletts Wild Animal Park and Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve - from 9.30am to closure. You can use a golf buggy for the whole duration of your stay to explore the Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve (with a valid driving licence).
The check-in time for your stay is at 3pm and the check-out time is at 11am.
Safari Experience
All of our short breaks guests have a safari included in the cost of their stay. Your safari will take you on an adventure through our South American, Asian and African Experience zones where you will see spectacled bears, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, camels and more.
Eat & Drink
Enjoy home cooked dishes made with home grown, local and seasonal produce at our restaurants and cafes around the reserve. Or relax and soak up the wonderful atmosphere of the unique Moroccan Courtyard (open spring & summer) at Port Lympne Hotel. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea or a romantic candlelit dinner at the new opening The Garden Room.
