Cuon alpinus
Dhole, also known as the Asiatic wild dog, are found through eastern and southern Asia. On average a pack of dholes numbers 5 to 12 individuals but super-groups of 30 or more individuals have been seen! When hunting as a pack they can take down prey over 10 times their own body weight and have been known to fend off a tiger!
Howletts is currently are home to 11 females!
