The greater kudu is the second largest of the antelopes, with eland being the largest. They are widely distributed in Africa - southern Chad, Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia, Namibia, Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Males have impressive horns growing up to 2 meters! Greater kudu are browsers meaning they primarily feed on leaves and spend over half their day foraging. Kudu are accomplished jumpers – jumping heights of over 2.5 metres!
