Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury, will host a family friendly fun run on Saturday 16th September to raise money for The Aspinall Foundation’s conservation efforts.
The fourth fundraising run to be held at the popular wild animal park will see participants flock to the popular tourist attraction to walk past wolves, leap past leopards and jog past hogs over either a 5K or 10K course.
Paul Farthing CEO – Fundraising said: ‘We’re now in our fourth year of holding this popular fun run and it’s a great way to experience the park before it opens to the general public. All the monies raised this year will support our conservation work, here at our wild animal parks in Kent and around the world, where we work to protect critically endangered animals.’
Entry to the event is £15.00 in advance or £17.00 on the day, whilst runners who raise £30 or more through sponsorship will enjoy free park entry as a thank you. Everyone who takes part will receive a commemorative medal.
Registration will take place at 07.30am and the challenge will start at 09.30am at Howletts Visitor Car Park, in front of the Gatehouse.
