An explorer in the making
An exciting and enthusiastic baby black and white ruffed lemur has been born at Howletts. The little boy, Athos, is the latest arrival for his parents - dad, Aramis, and mum, Akisa. He was born on 3rd June 2017 and is definitely an explorer in the making. This week Athos has swung into action in his enclosure, as he begins to navigate around with confidence, although his mum never lets him wander off too far.
This intrepid new arrival is Aramis and Akisa's third baby, making him now one of five black and white ruffed lemurs at the park.
