Based at both Port Lympne & Howletts Wild Animal Park
Port Lympne & Howletts are looking for an Admissions & Retail Assistant Manager to join the team.
The Assistant Retail and Admissions Manager will be primarily responsible for the daily direction and coordination of the teams, as well as supporting all team members to ensure that they provide our guests with unrivalled customer service, making their experience at our parks unique and memorable. You will be responsible for managing the staffing schedule, recruitment, training, individual performance, holiday requests and time management recording systems.
Who are we looking for:
You must have previous experience of managing a team within a retail or admissions environment, with demonstrable experience of driving sales and creating inspirational merchandising displays. You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to positively influence behaviour and achieve strong results as a team. You will have good commercial awareness, including experience of budget planning, with a great understanding of Microsoft Products.
You will have excellent time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to demonstrate a customer focused approach. As you will be required to work at both parks, a driving license is essential for this position.
Contract details:
Working hours are 40 hours per week, worked 5 days out of 7 as per the rota, including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays as required. A reliable mode of transport is essential due to our remote location. All applicants must have right to work in the UK.

Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is a world-renowned wild animal park set within 600 acres of Kentish savannah.
