The Health & Safety Administrator will provide high-level administrative support to the Health and Safety Compliance Manager to ensure an efficient and coordinated service is provided to Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park. The role will involve general administration in relation to Health and Safety databases, including, processing and organising accident records, reviewing risk assessments, responding to general health and safety queries, organising and minuting meetings and overseeing internal and external audits for health and safety to ensure the parks and departments are compliant with relevant legislation.
Who are we looking for:
You must have previous experience of working in an administrative or similar role gained within a trade environment or similar establishment. You will have demonstratable experience of successfully planning work to be completed within set time frames and effectively meeting deadlines.
You will have the ability to adapt quickly to situations as they arise and remain calm under pressure, along with effective problem solving skills. You will be extremely organised, with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines. An IOSH Managing Safely Certificate is desirable but not essential.

This is a temporary contract to cover a period of maternity leave up to 52 weeks.
Working hours are 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. Normally worked 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. A reliable mode of transport is essential due to our remote location. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
