Our team at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are currently recruiting Safari Drivers to join the Safari team on a seasonal basis until the 2nd November 2025.
As a Safari driver you will drive our Land Rovers, Safari trucks and trailers around the park whilst delivering engaging and educational commentary on our animals, park history and The Aspinall Foundation’s conservation projects to your guests on board.
Who we are looking for:
Enthusiastic individuals who have a passion for nature and conservation. You will have an excellent general knowledge of wildlife and an understanding of worldwide conservation issues, which will help to increase the visitor experience for guests visiting our Parks. You will also need outstanding customer service skills and understand the importance of putting the guests needs first to provide our guests with a truly unforgettable experience. You might also be required to work alongside the keepers across our animal sections as and when needed. A full valid driving licence is essential for this role, whilst experience of driving large vehicles is desirable.
Contract information:
Seasonal contracts will run through to the 2nd November 2025. Rate of pay will increase in April 2025. Working hours are full time, 40 hours per week, covering shifts over five days out of seven. The shift times may vary i.e.: either early start or late finish. This will include weekends and Bank Holidays. All applicants must have right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
