Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and resourceful Reservationist to assist the Short Breaks Sales Team.
As a Short Breaks Reservationist, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences that matter by expertly managing bookings for Short Breaks’ accommodation, ensuring a first-class and personalised service. As the primary point of contact, you will handle inquiries, craft tailored proposals, and guide our guests through the booking process while meeting sales targets.
Beyond booking, you will coordinate additional activities for our guests, assist in sales reporting, and identify opportunities for business growth. With a focus on quality, you will consistently up-sell and address guest feedback, ensuring each stay is exceptional from start to finish.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, must have excellent verbal and written communication, as well as good time management skills. You must be able to multi-task and problem-solve, have a good level of numeracy and be IT literate. You will need to be able to react quickly to the business needs and confident to make immediate decisions. Previous experience working with Opera PMS would be advantageous.
Contract details:
This position is full time position, working 40 hours per week, five days out of seven as per the roster, including weekends and bank holidays. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
