Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are recruiting for Operations Operatives, who will be responsible for ensuring that the park’s public areas and facilities are cleaned and maintained to an exceptional standard.
The role will involve cleaning and maintaining the park facilities, emptying commercial and day visitor waste bins, removing litter, ensuring facilities are stocked and maintained, as well as managing the flow of traffic in and out of the visitor car park. You may also be required to help answer visitor queries and assist the park stores team with the receiving and delivery of supplies into the park from our off-site storage facility.
Who we are looking for:
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, however not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will require the ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks when required. You must be prepared to work outdoors in all weathers and hold a full valid driving licence (including grounds B, BE, B1 as a minimum, manual gearbox), as you will be required to drive company vehicles around the park.
The ability to tow a trailer is desirable.
Contract details:
Full-time and part-time permanent positions available. Full-time positions are working 40 hours per week, part-time positions are working 20 hours per week. Hours will be allocated on a rota basis, which can include weekends. A 30-minute unpaid lunch break will be included in your working day. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
