Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve are looking for waiters, waitresses, bar staff and wedding & event assistants to join our teams within our beautiful, historic hotel & Garden Room Restaurant, as well as our Babydolls Italian & Bear Lodge Restaurant & Orangery. The role will see you working in picturesque, historic surroundings, within a friendly, vibrant team.
Who are we looking for:
Waiters & waitresses who have a passion for excellent customer service and thrive in a busy hospitality environment. You will assist in taking orders and serving food and beverages to our customers, whilst working effectively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Experienced bar staff who have the ability to create classic and innovative drinks for our guests. You will have an excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks and will always strive to exceed our customer needs and expectations.
Wedding & Events Assistants who will help us to deliver an amazing, unforgettable, experience for our guests. This particular position would be ideal for someone who is already working and looking for additional hours as and when available. You will assist with waiting tables, serving canapes and drinks, polishing and cleaning glassware and cutlery, as well as with the clean-up and close to get ready for the next day’s event.
Contract details:
Basic rate of pay is £10.18 for under 21-year-olds and £11.44 for over 21-year-olds, plus a guaranteed share of service charge. Rate of pay will increase in line with National Minimum Wage requirements in April 2025. Various roles available. Full-time and part-time, seasonal & permanent contracts available, working between 0-45 hours a week. Shifts may include day shifts, evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays and will vary in hours depending on the number of bookings.
A reliable form of transport would be essential due to the remote location of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
