The successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time for the business, as it launches a new accommodation suitable for wedding couples – the Moroccan Courtyard Suite.
As our Wedding & Events Executive, you'll be the driving force behind the seamless planning and execution of unforgettable celebrations. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, managing calls, emails, and inquiries from lead generation platforms with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your organisational skills will shine as you handle daily administrative tasks, conduct inspiring venue show rounds, and follow up on inquiries to secure bookings and maximise revenue.
From the initial inquiry to the final event, you’ll expertly coordinate with all departments to ensure every detail exceeds expectations. You'll play a key role in building client relationships, meeting with clients on the event day, and conducting post-event follow-ups to guarantee satisfaction and encourage repeat business. With a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs, this role combines sales, customer service, and event management to create memorable experiences that matter for our guests.
Who are we looking for:
We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who thrives in the world of event management and hospitality. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and possess a proven ability to manage the full event cycle – from the first inquiry to delivering seamless celebrations that exceed expectations. It is desirable for the candidate to have previous experience of within a luxury hotel environment.
You will be a natural at building relationships with clients, conducting inspiring venue show rounds, and managing inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your organisational skills will be second to none, enabling you to coordinate with multiple departments, handle daily administrative tasks, and ensure every event runs like clockwork.
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven, with a keen eye for detail and a determination to secure bookings, achieve sales targets, and maximise revenue. Contract details:
This position is working 40 hours a week, 9-5pm, 5 days out of 7. Weekend availability will be required in this position. This role is based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve near Folkestone and reports directly into the Event Sales Manager. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK. A reliable mode of transport is recommended due to our remote location.
