The perfect backdrop for your event
Historically a gathering place for pivotal figures in the art world, high society and politics of the day, the Cape Dutch-style mansion was built for Sir Phillip Sassoon in 1913 by architects Sir Herbert Baker and Philip Tilden.
We offer the use of the stunning drawing rooms and terraces, surrounded by glorious landscaped gardens, providing the perfect backdrop for your event. These include The Long Room, The Spencer Roberts Room and The Martin Jordan Room.
The strikingly original décor within the mansion is enhanced yet more by spectacular sea views from the south and west-facing terraces.
