Lavish Spaces Praised as “Absolute Perfection”
Two new wedding venues at Kent’s iconic Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve have opened to lavish praise from delighted brides.
The two luxurious new spaces - a spectacular glass orangery and stunning pergola – opened in June. The Port Lympne team are offering private tours of the new venues for prospective brides and grooms and have received hundreds of enquiries, with couples looking to book as far in advance as summer 2026.
The Orangery
A perfect venue for a truly unforgettable occasion, the elegant glass orangery and terrace, within 14 acres of tranquil landscaped gardens and surrounded by the park’s 900 animals, are truly private and available for exclusive use only. One of the first brides to use the new orangery described her day as “absolute perfection”.
The Pergola
The pergola, tucked away within Port Lympne mansion’s historic whispering walled garden, is a captivating venue for a ceremony, nestled in one of the most serene, romantic spots in the reserve. A recent bride was delighted, saying; “The setting is insanely beautiful. We felt truly privileged to be the first marriage in the pergola and everything about the day was a dream come true for us.”

We have a three-decade long history of creating picture-perfect weddings here at Port Lympne, and these venues enable us to offer a new level of luxury and sophistication to our guests. Our setting remains unique: one where couples can wed surrounded by hundreds of rare and endangered animals
The exclusive new venues join the list of beautiful wedding spaces to hire at the 600-acre wildlife park, including the opulent muralled drawing rooms within the Grade II*-listed mansion and the ornate Moroccan courtyard. The hotel and reserve can also accommodate wedding guests overnight across a variety of interior-designed luxury lodges, cottages, cabins and treehouses.
Combining the allure of nature, the warmth of British hospitality and a commitment to conservation, Port Lympne offers a truly breathtaking setting in which to say, ‘I do’.
