With almost 100 lifesize, photo-realistic dinosaurs to meet, Port Lympne's Dinosaur Forest is the best prehistoric attraction for budding palaeontologists. The dinosaurs' enclosure spans across acres of wild woodland, with new creatures awaiting around every corner. This huge area, dedicated to dino discovery, is located next door to Port Lympne's brown bear family and opposite the wildly popular Babydoll's Wood-Fired Pizza restaurant. A Prehistoric Playground
As you step into the Dinosaur Forest, you’re immediately transported to the age of the dinosaurs. The meticulously crafted life-sized models of these prehistoric giants make it easy to imagine what life might have been like millions of years ago. From the towering Spinosaurus to the long-necked Brachiosaurus, the forest is home to over 100 different dinosaur species, all set in a lush, forested that will transport you straight back to the time of the dinosaurs.

Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus is known to have eaten fish, and most believe that it hunted both land animals and aquatic creatures. Evidence suggests it was perhaps semiaquatic; but scientists are still debating how strong a swimmer it was. Visit our spinosaurus this summer and see if you think it was a swimmer!

Iguanodon
Iguanodon had large thumb spikes, which were probably used to protect themselves from predators. Make sure you give ours a thumbs up when you visit.

Beyond the dinosaurs
While the Dinosaur Forest is a star attraction, Port Lympne Reserve has much more to offer. Families can explore the extensive wildlife reserve, home to over 700 animals, including giraffes, rhinos, and gorillas. A truck safari tour is included with all tickets (subject to availability), allowing intrepid explorers to embark on an adventure across our iconic Kentish savannah, where giraffe, rhino, zebra and many more species roam free.
Guests can also choose to upgrade to an enhanced safari to get even closer to their favourite species, book an animal encounter with an expert keeper or even feed their favourite animals!
