Afternoon tea is served on traditional tiers, layered with a selection of finger sandwiches and savoury bites, delicate pastries and desserts and of course scones with plenty of clotted cream and seasonal jams. Our selection of loose leaf teas or coffee are the perfect accompaniment to your traditional Kent afternoon tea experience. How to book your afternoon tea
An afternoon tea experience is the perfect way to end a day of exploring the Reserve and working up an appetite while you spot the endangered animals dotted around the Kent countryside. Pre-book your table for an afternoon of indulgent treats at the historic mansion set within 14 acres of landscaped gardens. Make your experience extra special by celebrating with a bottle of bubbly! Please ask a member of staff upon arrival or call us to upgrade your classic afternoon tea booking to our sparkling afternoon tea.
Afternoon tea is served at 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 2:30pm & 3pm daily.
£34per adult* or £20per child*, pre-booking is essential and must be booked at least 2 hours in advance (we recommend booking 24 hours in advance for any food allergies to avoid disappointment). Add a glass of prosecco for £7 or a glass of award-winning Gusbourne sparkling wine for £12, by calling the reservations team or ask your server on arrival.

Our Heritage
