For more intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests, we offer use of the mansion drawing rooms, terraces and Moroccan Courtyard. Built in 1913 by architects Sir Herbert Baker and Philip Tilden, the Cape Dutch-style mansion is surrounded by 14 acres of landscaped terraced gardens, providing the perfect backdrop for those special moments. The strikingly original décor is enhanced yet more by lovely far-reaching views from the south and west facing terraces.
Our Spaces
The Iceberg Terrace
Fully licenced for civil ceremonies, the picturesque setting offers space for up to 50 guests in an outdoor setting before hosting your guests on our Southern Terrace for drinks and canapes.
The Moroccan Courtyard
With all of its original features including marble flooring, octagonal fountain and balcony, the Moroccan Courtyard is an idyllic spot for smaller ceremonies for up to 20 guests.
The Long Room
Continue your celebrations in our Long Room, suitable for up to 50 guests to eat and drink and dance until late.
The Spencer Roberts Room
With its hand painted muraled walls, the Spencer Roberts Room offers a cosy celebration space for up to 20 guests. Wow your guests with the vibrant artwork throughout the entire room.
Included in your Intimate Wedding
Whether you choose an outdoor ceremony held on our Iceberg Terrace, or be surrounded by beautiful florals in our Moroccan Courtyard or an indoor ceremony within our Mansion drawing rooms, your wedding will include a reception including Gusbourne sparkling wine and tray served canapes, a three course meal accompanied by a half of a bottle of wine and mineral water, Gusbourne sparking wine for your toasts and 8 Mansion bedrooms where you and your guests can sleep the night of the wedding.
In addition, venue hire at Port Lympne also includes a dedicated, personal wedding coordinator to help plan your day, a fully stocked bar operated by our experienced staff, round tables and wooden crossback chairs, fully dressed tables including cutlery, crockery, glassware, white table linen and white napkins, plus an event manager on the day to ensure the smooth running of your day and complimentary car parking for all your guests.
Please note our wedding packages do not include Registrar and ceremony fees which are payable by you directly to Kent County Council or your chosen celebrant.
