Ailurus fulgens
Mainly found in Nepal, Nothern India, Myanamar and China. The red panda has a special bone- the radial sesamoid bone- which acts as a false thumb, allowing it to grasp clumps of bamboo to aid feeding. Red pandas can live up to 15 years and can have 1-4 cubs every 1-2 years.
