Rainy Day Guarantee
The weather won’t ruin your visit to Howletts Wild Animal Park or Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve: We offer a rainy day guarantee at both Parks for all day visitors who have booked in advance!
If you visit before 31st December 2024 and it rains continuously for 2 or more hours between 10.30am – 5pm, our Rainy Day Guarantee means that you can return to the Park free of charge within 30 days of your original booking.
At 14:30 every day, our Gatehouse team will review the days' weather and make a decision regarding the availability of rainy day tickets.
To claim your rainy day tickets, simply show your online booking confirmation to a member of gatehouse staff before you leave.
Rainy Day tickets must be claimed from the Gatehouse before you exit the Park on the day of your original booking. They are not available retroactively or online.
Terms and conditions
Only valid for full-priced tickets pre-booked online. Excludes tickets purchased on the day.
Valid 1st Jan– 31st December 2024.
Only valid if 2 or more consecutive hours of continuous rain are confirmed by our gatehouse team on the day of your visit.
The gatehouse team will review the days' weather and make a decision at 14:30.
The decision of our gatehouse team to activate the rainy day guarantee is final. No discussion will be entered into.
Free return visits will be valid 30 days from the date of your original booking only.
Free tickets will only be given upon presentation of the original ticket / booking confirmation from your first visit at the gatehouse on the date of your original booking. They cannot be claimed online, via phone or retroactively.
This offer is only valid for day tickets that are booked online in advance of your first visit, it is not available for tickets purchased on the day.
No cash alternative is available; tickets cannot be sold or transferred.
Return visits are subject to availability
Free tickets will be issued like for like. For example, a child ticket for a child ticket and a Howletts ticket for a Howletts ticket. No amendments will be available.
Excludes; Previous Rainy Day Guarantee tickets, short breaks guests, tickets purchased on the gate, 3rd party tickets including Picniq tickets, schools, groups/pre-organised events and free/promotional tickets.
Should it rain on your return visit, tickets will not be transferable.
This free return will only include the Park ticket and not any additional experiences purchased for the original date.
