Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is fast on its way to becoming Europe’s first animal focused holiday destination and we’re currently seeking quality applications for our beautiful, historic hotel & Garden Room Restaurant, as well as our Babydolls Italian & Bear Lodge Restaurant.
If you have previous supervisory experience, a passion for excellent customer service and thrive in a busy hospitality environment, then this could be the perfect job for you.
Who we are looking for:
An experienced supervisor who will help, train, and develop a talented and exceptional restaurant team, to ensure we provide the highest level of customer service for our overnight accommodation guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of service and supervise the team’s performance to maintain the highest standard to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of supervising a team, ideally gained in a busy hospitality environment. You will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellent service. You must be calm under pressure and have a proven ability of dealing with customer complaints. Ideally you will have a basic knowledge of wines and drinks and be able to explain and up sell our products at every opportunity.
Contract details:
Full time and part time roles available (up to 45 hours per week), worked on a rota basis including weekends, school holidays and bank holidays. Service charge is received in addition to salary. Applicants must be willing to be flexible with their working hours. A reliable form of transport would be essential due to the remote location of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
